The Medical Examiner investigates deaths and provide information about cause of death to next-of-kin. The website has a list of funeral homes and cremation services. The Medical Examiner’s office cannot make a recommendation of a funeral home for you. If you call the Medical Examiner, you first speak to the administrative assistant of the District Attorney.
